A collection of vintage enamel pots, buckets and chests decorated using 19th and early 20th century images.
The art of decoupage involves taking the individual images and carefully cutting them out, one by one, before sticking each piece onto the vessel to create a unique design.
The process, as described by Brenda, one half of the incredible team behind Arundel Eccentrics, is truly a labour of love:
"We take vintage enamel pots and buckets and give them a makeover. We paint them, usually black but sometimes red or racing green with a hint of gold, decorate with decoupage using 19th or early 20th century images, then varnish, varnish, varnish and finish with a coat or two of aging wax. Then finally the pots and buckets get buffed to a soft sheen, et voila!"
Decorated entirely by hand, each piece is unique and one of a kind.
