Eyes, lips, lucky charms: Pascale Nivet Bernetière's hand-embroidered jewellery is pure theatre, which makes sense once you learn who she named her studio after. Céleste Mogador was a nineteenth-century Parisian cancan dancer who danced her way from the Bal Mabille to a countess's title, and every one-off piece stitched in her Rennes studio carries a little of that audacity.
