ABC Glassware is a small studio run from Comporta and Lisbon, Portugal specialising in hand painted glassware collections designed by Andrea Baginski Champalimaud.
Andrea has previously collaborated on collections with Jacques Grange in Comporta, the Ritz Carlton in Lisbon, Palacio Cadaval in Evora and Dorey Tiles in Lisbon.
Thanks to a special technique that involves baking the paint at 600 degrees, the designs bond “into” the glass creating a more delicate and durable effect. The paintings are also visible and beautiful on both sides of the glass. After each layer of paint, the glasses are baked in the oven. This process is repeated three or four times depending on the design. This technique results in a more refined and detailed finish.

The glassware is not suitable for hot beverages. To maintain the product's quality, we recommend hand washing using warm soapy water, as machine washing can cause the paint to mattify over time.
